Launched in 2021 and officially recognized by the Piedmont Region, the Gran Monferrato Wine & Food Trail was created by the Gran Monferrato Derthona Gavi Consortium to celebrate local wine, gastronomy, and tourism across the province of Alessandria.
Wine is just the beginning—this land is home to an extraordinary variety of flavors and products. The Wine & Food Trail is the perfect cycling route to experience them all, combining outdoor adventure with the area’s rich food and wine traditions.
The trail features four themed routes, weaving through three main areas: Casale Monferrato, Acqui Terme, and Ovada, and extending into the Alessandria plain, shaped by its rivers.
